Bedford Heritage Trust

Our Mission

The Bedford Heritage Trust is a 501(c)(3) non‑profit corporation that supports efforts by Bedford residents and civic organizations to preserve our county’s distinctive history and heritage.

The Bedford Heritage Trust assumed responsibility for the revitalization of the Fort Bedford Museum in 2014. Its team of museum professionals has cataloged the 5,000-object collection, implemented educational programs that have inspired hundreds of students, and transformed two of the museum’s three galleries into world-class interpretive exhibits.
